I have upgraded my world but still see bedrock at y=0 instead of deepslate. The bedrock layer previously at y=0 will be replaced with deepslate, and you will then be able to dig even deeper, with the chance of discovering the new cave types and underground biomes introduced in this update. ![]() This means that there’s a lot more world to explore!
